From our download page you can print and mail/fax us the adoption application. Please make certain to complete the entire form (of special importance is the veterinarian's name) as this will expedite your application's review. Adoption fees for animals are as follows: You may get a call from one of the adoption counselors to clarify any questions the committee may have. Our adoption review committee meets once weekly to discuss and review the applications that have been received during the previous week. Within two weeks, you will receive a form letter or a call from an adoption counselor to let you know just where your apllication is in the review process. We get many applications for the same dog, cat or horse. If that should happen and your application has been accepted but the animal you requestd has been already adopted to someone else, we will keep your application on file and help you find another of our wonderful animals. It is our job to find the best match for each of our animals. This Humane Society/SPCA is entirely staffed by volunteers who are dedicated to placing our animals in a timely fashion. However, we are sometimes not able to respond as quickly as some of you would like. We are working as hard as we can. Please keep in mind that as volunteers, we also have other obligations in our busy lives. We appreciate your interest and patience and look forward to the return of your application.
